Coming to a Town Near you

Post by Larnix »

Hey all, Its been a while how is everyone. Me and the Lady friend will be in Australia next week. We are spending a week in Melbourne, a week in Sydney, and then a week in Cairns. It would be cool to meet and greet and grab some drinks with all you. Also are there any must see things and or places i should try to check out. Of course we have all the tourist stuff but maybe something we wouldnt know about. Plus i live on a island that has no resturants so any suggestions on that would also rock.So if you are interested let me know. I can give the dates when we'll be were.

Heya larninx.

Kysumu is away for the weekend but I'm sure he'd wanna catch up with you, as would I. Curtis is also kicking around in Melbourne now but I'm not sure how many others you'd have met.

What sort of food do you guys like? Are there any dietary restrictions? What sort of things are you hoping to see/do? (nature things, art exhibits, sports, ???)

I'm sure there's heaps to do and eat.. what plans do you have currently and what dates are you actually around from/to?

I'll PM you my phone number if you wanna ring when you hit town. Where are you staying?

I will be in Melbourne on April 20th and leave on the 26th. We are staying near the Casino. We live on a really small island its like 5k long by 1k wide and maybe 1,000 people live here. We all ride bicycles everywhere. There will definitely be no limitations on the food, well no chicken and rice we have enough of that. We just want to see and do as much as possible in our time there. It gets quite boring out here quick as you can imagine. So when I say any suggestions I really mean it. We have all the tourist books but I figure there has to be some places you all would know that the book might not cover. The only thing she really wants to do in Melbourne for sure is that Coast drive. That should be fun for me to drive. I havent driven in heavy traffic in over a year and i get to do it on the other side of the road..

Well Tully is a few 100km's South of Cairns it is rain forest and they do lots of white water rafting up that way ... i always wanted to do it but never got around to it when i was there :) heard it is tones of fun but and the area is very pretty.
