This just posted on the EQ live site minutes ago, is already getting a really big response from the communities on several servers.

Seems that we won't be seeing you guys in game - but now we know where your forums live we'll probably just troll your boards :p

hird, we've heard your opinions on which server names should be kept after the mergers. We feel the real answer to this question is that you, the community, should decide the name for your server. Therefore, we will be adding polls to allow every player the chance to vote for the name of their particular server (including servers that have already been merged). We're working out the details of that now so stay tuned for a post shortly.

This is amusing. Do they honestly think they're going to get anything other than people requesting THEIR server name be kept?

Well we're still very alike guilds and would make sense to keep in touch.

I think it would still be good to have a gettogether in melbourne and will post more details about that regardless of if we're merging or not. Just to sit around with 10+ people and chat EQ should be fun.

I certainly hope they allow those people that have already /movelog'd to the Rathe the opportunity to /movelog again to Bert.

I would think they would. Free /movelog are offered to you when your server merges, one would assume that related to all Rathe residents, not just original inhabitants.

Yeah now's the chance for Rathe aussies to movelog to Wrecker's new home Bertox for an opportunity at more targets of opportunity and no rotation. Bwa haha.

Actually I'd be happy with just the people who've either transferred already to the server to app with us when we were going to turn up to Rathe being allowed to move off.

I had some alts on Brell that I /movelog'd to Rathe in anticipation of the merge. I just tried to /movelog them again but neither Bert nor TP were options in the list.

So petition is in, wonder what will happen.

I didn't count but the list seemed a lot shorter than last time.. maybe all merged servers taken out? dunno.

Okay after talking to some people online that had put /movelog's in I had another look. Bert is actually there in the list, just not where you'd expect as all the other servers seem alphabetical

Aye it is, I almost panic'd when I didnt see Bert on the list, not realising straight away they have them in a funny order.

All my chars are movelog'd now to bert, so I get to wait........and wait.......
