Hmm .. didn't expect to see you around again Sim. Thanks for dropping in and letting us know how you are going.

Glad to see that EQ2 is working for you. Best of luck with your new friends.

Heh, you'll be exasperated to know that we're about caught up to where you were with wanting members to get KT flagged. Damn but we're slow off the mark. :(

Best of luck for 2005 and be happy.

Good for you. I'm still around, as are a few others. Not many still in Wreckers though that would remember you.

Yep Inky. I spent about 6 months before I even owned EQ over at Issolde's house on the weekend watching you lot raiding. I knew all of you even before I started my first character (or felt like I did).

Then when I did start playing, I got to talk to a few of you in game. I got my first sword from Zappity when I was a level 1 noob and was so excited that someone would give me something so uber for nothing. I think it was a fine steel sword. Issolde made me a full set of banded. I thought I was wonderful. Then I got to about level 15-20 or something and a few people donated gear to me. I remember some wonderful shoulder item anda nice cloak. This was on my paladin, Elene, who is still only around level 32 or something.

Wreckers had no paladins in guild and there never had been one in guild. My plan was to be the first Wreckers paladin and show you lot just how good a paladin could be. Isamijr joined when I was around a level 12 or something I think and that ended that plan of being the first paladin.

Issolde then bullied me into making a cleric because Wreckers really needed clerics and they are such an awesome class yada yada yada. So I built a cleric and whenever Issolde wasn't around went back to soloing my paladin. I really didn't like playing a cleric.

Then I got given some more gear, Severis/Kzar gave me an Iceshapers staff and I felt so powah! Starshape would always check on how I was going. Such a lovely young man he is. And I think I learnt so much about being a cleric from Kzar. Anyway eventually I got big enough to apply to Wreckers and I did - and joined a team of 8 other clerics, all of whom were brilliant at their class. There was of course Thoraf, Kzar, Issolde, Kathodos, Ixnay, Vamenea, Larnix and I've forgotten the last one.

I remember the pullers, Orangu and omg I've forgotten. I was always in awe of the pullers, they seemed to me to be absolutely brilliant. Issolde always said they were the best team on server but couldnt compare to Sset who had trained them. I never really knew Sset though. But anyway they were a brilliant pull team. Then there was Chronicus and Silkenshammie, two of the best shamans around. Oh, and the ranger team of course. Giustin and Aamasie, along with Daesan and Elierra, tried so hard to edificate me, I'm afraid it took an awfully long time though. Silk used to always put me in with the ranger group because I was so useless.

Then who can forget the wit of Custardtart and Boppin, the kindness and generosity of Mystie and Zappity, the awesome EQ knowledge of Arcanum and Kathodos and the joy of coming on line to be with such a great group of people. Oh and lets not forget the indescribable Starshape and Scattrick.

Oooh this has ended up being a trip down memory lane instead of a quick response.

Oh yah, reading all that brought back some memories also....

I remember all the players you named and when I was playing, Wreckers was the best clan at the time...We didnt have the number of players as Rebirth...or Marke/Ashek's clan...but we kicked some ass for the amount of players we had..Sset was absolutly the best monk/puller that ive ever seen, he seemed like an ass in RL, but in game, he was cool...lol...As for silk, he was the best clan leader that i've ever seen...so dedicated..that phatarse... I dont know if I was the first druid in the clan or not...but i was one of the ones that joined near the beginning of wreckers....

As for that shorty Boppin, he was the nicest guy ive ever meet, never heard any complaints from that man...he is a piece of work..

I remember talking to you on Roger Wilco...along with Issolde....back then, Sawdoff was my roommate...i'm sure you remember him...

If EQ wasnt so time consuming...I'd prolly start playing again...I had alot of good times playing...

Ahh - I had forgotten that Roger Wilco thing. Yep I do remember talking to you and Sawdoff. Although making yourself understood on that thing was almost impossible - what with all the crackle and the lag and the distortion.

Hmm we use team speak a bit now.. much better clarity, as you'd expect from technology a fair bit more mature :)
