Optimus's original Decepticon enemy leader was of course Megatron. Galvatron was created by Unicron after Starscream took advantage of his injuries which he recieved during his battle with Optimus to toss him out the back of Astrotrain. He was floating in space when Unicron found him. Optimus died of his injuries. ahh yes, Unicron, the planet sized Transformer in the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>Transformers: The Movie</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> that has the distinguished honour of being the last film made by Orson Welles before his death.
