Patch tonight.....

Upcoming Update

All EverQuest servers will be coming down at 4:00 AM PST (-8 UTC) on Tuesday 11/01/2005 for an update. Estimated downtime is 3 hours.

This update will address issues with the Firiona Server as well as some issues that have come up due to the time change this past weekend.

Interesting tho that the patch is not on a usual night, that is Wednesday.. I suspect it has something to do with the Halloween events broken I have heard mentioned in various threads.

OMGZ! An event that is broken, the hell you say! SOE does not make mistakes, we just can't figure out that the npcs really need a different item than the one they describe or the fact that you need to dye all your armor pink before certain hand ins or possibly the fact that you must be a certain class of a certain level with a precise amount of experience in that level in order to get that portion of the quest. How silly of us all!!!

Hehehe the difference is for some strange reason they started recruiting from the community and now its staffed by people that give a dam. There is a community leader working at Sony on the Tradeskill content now very actively. Someone thats reviewing and fixing broken quests and uncompleted / confusing ones. And the dev that on his weekend logged into let players know that there WAS a problem with the haloween events and that he will push to have the time these are on extended because of it.

anyone know if the Primals in yxtta spawn with server? or are they raid mob type timing...i.e. 3 day re-spawn doesnt change with server reset?

Ronni can verify the serverupness of them but I am pretty sure they spawn with the server - then respawn on 3 day + -
