BTW Free - the savoury mince recipe already posted in its own thread makes quite a good pie filling. Just add a bit more tomato either fresh or canned will do the job nicely. Also you can add a bit of tomato paste for a richer flavour

Will find my mothers recipe for lemon meringue pie - its really simple. There's another one of my mothers, caramel meringue pie which is also very simple. Wonder where I put those recipes?
