Since some guy has apparently cracked the recipe, I thought I'd share it. I gave it a try, its good but wasn't anything like KFC for me, but then again I am full of kitchen fail. Either way its good to coat chicken in it and make burritos. Results may vary =)
— 1 teaspoon ground oregano
— 1 teaspoon chili powder
— 1 teaspoon ground sage
— 1 teaspoon dried basil
— 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
— 1 teaspoon pepper
— 2 teaspoons salt
— 2 tablespoons paprika
— 1 teaspoon onion salt
— 1 teaspoon garlic powder
— 2 tablespoons accent (MSG)

I heard a rumour one of the secret herb and spices was mixed herbs which seems to me to be a bit of a dodge.

There is a takeaway food joint in Northcote Plaza, VIC that sells their version of KFC and it tastes identical to KFC = less the oilyness.
