Hey guys, i am going out of town for a few days at the end of this week. I was curious if you guys would mind if sainity boxed me on saturdays raid? I asked mazia , and we both agreed i should post it and ask guild as a whole. I didnt want to do something against the rules, or something that would piss anyone off without permission. So please share your insight

talking from experience..boxxing 2 melee toons is basically impossible so I would think no matter how good Sainity is at boxxing, he wouldn't be running either toon to even close to capacity.

I think just miss a few raids, wont hurt.

Boxing 2 melee toons isn't difficult, I do it all the time, but unless you're being botted for a flag, it's probably pointless. I wouldn't bother really...

Didn't say it was impossible, certainly not in a group situation. We can all do it in our own groups. But whatever, obviously some of you think you could 2box two melee toons to near full capacity.

I was talking in a raid situation. Trash mobs get pushed around so much that your'd only ever really be controlling one toon making the only time you truely 2 box the second melee toon being a boss mob, not that that is all bad, as that's when the dps is needed.

I don't see the point of Sainity boxxing you on the raid when you are an app - you aren't gaining raid attendance - the officers know you aren't playing your own char - so you shouldn't get any loot that raid - its unlikely that we'd be flagging just the one time if we are doing a flag - you play a class that isn't essential (unlike a ranger haha) to the raid, your char is still a liabilty gear-wise (for healing/resists etc) i suspect.

You are allowed a day off without being punished

Sounds a little harsh for a post from me - its not intended to be but i don't really see the point - enjoy the day off - everyone has days off - slackers i call them but it happens

The question i meant to ask is if something rots on a raid or there is a possible flag i need, if someone could log onto me and grab. I dont know what proper app etiquete is, so im going out on a limb. But i was told this is a fair question and i should ask guild.
No raid no loot is what i figured. Im not a "loot whore" by any means. I just figured loot to a bot or an app, would be better than loot to a pet.

I've seen first hand that the guild goes out of its way to make sure things don't rot and I'm sure if there was monker stuff going to rot and someone could log you in everyone would be happy for that to happen.

More importantly is definitely flags. Having someone bot you to keep up flags for progression is fine so long as you're not taking resources away in so doing.

I'm only new, but I doubt anyone has a problem with you asking a question

It would be a shame if it rotted when he could use it.

I dont see a problem with Sainity logging Serp on and parking him at the entrance to Anguish. If it drops and its rotting, surely we can CotH him in to loot.....
