PoJ Test

I was wanting to do the Plane of Justice trails to gain entry into Plane of Valor. A friend of mine completed this last night and shared their stratergy with me, I was wanting to give it a true to get flagged for Valor. <br><br>Anyone interested in doing this as well? Yes, I saw that as well.. 1 AA point in 1.5 hours with a good group - I can deal with that. Speaking to a guy at work though, he says that because the mobs hit so hard and flurry, you need to be on the ball. Well, how's this as an idea: We take as many people as want to get into the next planes to PoJ, then one group starts the trial while the others fight their way to the quest NPC and get their flag. By the time they are all flagged and ready to do the trial, the first group should be finished and any players who want to help others with the trial can stay and do the trial again. We can't do it tonight as there's a patch.<br><br>Last night didn't go that badly; we learnt a lot about the test, but we were lacking a bit of DPS. Having everybody at 60+ is a must for this encounter, and sustainable damage output is what will help us win it.<br><br>We decided that a chanter is essential to get the melees as hasted as possible. We simply couldn't do enough DPS with the weapons we had. A necro would have also been invaluable.<br><br>The mobs you attack proc slow (need DR buffing), and one type is a chanter, and it will happily mezz you if your MR isn't high enough.<br><br>It was a lot of fun though, and I look forward to tackling it again.<br><br> <p>Huntress Daesun Quenya - Warder of Tunare<br>Hater of EZBoards</p><i></i>

http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br><br>Here's a basic rundown on the Trial.<br><br>First, find and talk to Mavuin to get the flag required, then head to The Tribunal's chambers.<br><br>You hail The Tribunal member (eastern most member) and /say ready trial execution.<br><br>The Tribunal then teleports your group into the Execution chamber, about twice the size of the Bazaar's Bank. There's 4 pews/bench seats at the back, and an executions stage at the front. An Observer for the Tribunal is in the rear corner of the room. At any time, targeting him and '/say return' will teleport you back to The Tribunal's chambers.<br><br>Note: <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>Your group</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END-->. This is a single group encounter, so you need to find a good balance of classes to need the requirements of the encounter. However, this can be done with various mixes of all classes, so it's unlikely that ClassXYZ will never be able to do it. You do need high damage per second however, as every second will count.<br><br>You have approx. 30 seconds before the first spawn cycle commences.<br><br>Each spawn cycle consists of the Executioner, the Prisoner, and 4 KOS mobs. The prisoner spawns on the stage, the Executioner spawns in the rear corner and begins to walk towards the stage, and the 4 mobs spawn around the seats.<br><br>If the Executioner reaches the Prisoner, he asks the Prisoner if he has any last words. The prisoner will then emote that he's bowing his head, and shortly there after the Executioner will do his job. This takes 20 seconds from the time the Executioner spawns to the time he kills the Prisoner. If any of the 4 mobs are killed however, the Executioner respawns at the back of the room and begins his walk again. If the Prisoner is executed, you fail the trial.<br><br>This means that the key to success is to eliminate the mobs one at a time, and fast. Each mob has 8k HP, and there are various types of mobs, including casters. Some proc slow on your group members, some will try to mez you, and so on. It's no fun to watch an enchanter mob AE tash then mez your main tank, your melees all slowed, and the Cleric is being beaten on due to healing aggro. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=
http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>The Executioner and the Prisoner cannot be effected by the players.<br><br>The mobs cannot be rooted or stunned, but can be mez'd. They hit too hard to offtank easily, and if you're offtanking then you're likely not going to take down one given mob in time to reset the Executioner.<br><br>There are 4 spawn cycles of mobs/Executioner/Prisoner, and you get an approx. 30 second break to med between each cycle (not very long at all). Once you have completed all four waves, Prime Executioner Vathoch will spawn. Your Cleric does still have mana, right?<br><br>Prime Executioner Vathoch can be slowed, and requires a tank & cleric to maintain the MA system while anyone who still can contribute damage chips in. He hits HARD, and it will take some time to wear him down. He ENRAGES at low health.<br><br>Once he's dead, you loot Mark of Execution from his corpse, and return to the Tribunal.<br><br>If you fail, it takes about 5 minutes for the Trial to reset. There is a zonewide shout letting you know that someone has failed the Trial ( ".. was found ... lacking.") and you can try again.<br><br>If you succeed, it takes 30 minutes for the Trial to reset, though the same zonewide shout is used letting you know that someone has failed. Fantastic. Two AM3 rangers will rock, especially if we stagger Trueshot. Those mobs have pisspoor AC and I was getting 270-390 DPS against them without Avatar while trueshotting.<br><br>It's another option, at least, although I think we can do it without disciplines once we tighten up. this wasn't as easy as it looks ... need some serious dps<br><br>and whoever is tanking needs to choose fast, attack fast and everyone assist very fast ...<br><br>these mobs vary so much ... even for first wave stuff ...<br>one time I'm gettting hit for 80-130s ... then next time 110-280s ... 10 straight (dazzle) mezzes in three 3 trials ... then another trial, first 5 spells (including GoK) are resisted ...<br><br>things to note :<br>they don't like sitters on spawn ...<br><br>they don't like healers ... ideally heals late, after 2 mobs parked ... so the 3rd can be parked off the healer<br><br>aggro seems a big variable ... sometimes seems to bounce at something as simple as a mezzed neighbor, others can't be pulled off with taunt ...<br><br>next time may play with AE mez (a little worried about the Agent) ... and then park after ... seems to take too long to individual park ... espeically with 20-50% PL ... I may try turning visual stuff off for the test as well ...<br><br>Have RP tonight ... maybe a club ... so Saturday will try again ...<br><br>-<br>Arc <p></p><i></i>
