All EverQuest servers will be coming down at 4:00 AM PDT (-7 UTC) on Wednesday 7/13/2005 for an update. Estimated downtime is 6 hours.

This patch is supposed to include the changes to pet focus effects, that was missing from the last patch.
Rumor has it that your pet will now be about as powerful as if you had the next focus up.
ie Summoners Boon pet will be as tough as old Minion of Darkness pet.
Minion of Eternity pet will now be as tough as old Ritual Summoning pet.
I still dont think pets will scale in line with other gear upgrades but its a step in the right direction...
