Patch Mon 31st

All EverQuest English-speaking servers will be coming down at 4:00 AM on Monday 1/31/2005 for an update. Estimated Downtime is 5 hours.

The EverQuest Operations Team
And the server is currently down anyways, although patch is not for 3 more hours....

If you ever want to figure out exactly how long a patch will take, I have the secret formula.. please get a pencil and follow me on this...

You take the amount of time estimated by sony, Multiplay that by two. Add 2 hours for the retards in training at the EQ Nerd Lab. Add another 30 minutes for them also, they like to take the servers down when they watch porn, it slows down their Media Player.

Please do not share this secret formula with others, We would not want to jam the servers with 1,000 people all trying to login at the same time.

Yeah having the server crash during our raid was a bit limiting.. but still we managed to rally and drop Fennin before the instascheduled patch. :)
