Hey all, Was wondering if there was anyone else out there that would be interested in farming out the 3 essences needed for the added aug 30/30 quest. If I read it right, old vp key and new quest together get you this aug. I may be wrong, but from all my reading, one solid group or two mixed groups could take these all down easily. Anyway, See you all in game

Mosh, you don't need to do both.

Old VP key + blood + container = Cipher of Veeshan = 30hp/mana/end aug, any slot usable.

New VP key (Essence of Charassis - Hexbone Skeleton_001, Essence of Chardok - Echo of Chardok random spawn near palace area, Essence of Sebilis - Echo of Sebilis random spawn from the jail all the way through shrooms to traks lair) + blood + container = Cipher of Veeshan = 15hp/mana/end aug, any slot usable.

The names of the key aug are the same, but they are different. No idea if you can have both.

Im currently doing both quests (I don't care which I finish first) and am at the stage where I just need either the Essence of Chardok for the new VP key or the medallion from the Ancient Jarsath in FV plus a Trak Tooth from Trak for the old VP key.

The Echo's in seb and chardok for the new key are 1 groupable, have around 50-60k hp's, proc a timed (60sec) 2k ish fire (seb) and cold (dok) AE with a 1.5 to 2.5sec stun. The echo's quad in the 900's or so I think.

I have a ranger parked in dok to track for that Echo, as I would prefer not killing in there (spent too damn long doing faction for SWC quest) and the respawns around the palace are fairly fast ~11-14mins iirc, and runners suck big time.

Whichever piece I find first, i will try and complete, old or new. I just want to be able to do the quests

Yeah I'm at the point where I just need trak tooth to finish vp quest. I already have blood from the spawned suled mob. I'll keep my eye open for the ancient jarsinth medallion to mq for you. I'm doing lots of faction work in MM now ae style so if your looking for a fast ae session, let me know. Cleric bard ae DD/Slow is the win. see ya in game

Just got my key finished and turned it into the 30/30/30 aug. Was wondering two things.
1. Is it safe to zone into VP or is it a dangerous zone in and
2. Who the hell can you check your faction with that is only ring of scale, not minion of scale ?

I would hate to zone in just to die and have horrid Fear raid flashbacks. thanks

Oh yeah, not sure but today was messing in kael and third kill the power source dropped for me so it may not be so uncommon. quest item is a nice necklace or priest belt.

Zone in is mostly safe in VP, zone in and head left to be more safe.

Check faction with Escorpa of the Ring in WW.

Mostly dorf killing, altho abandoned that since i'm now KoS to dorfs and every pull is 4mobs, which takes most of my mana and 6 years to med Off to MM to finish

edit: p.s. still got Vics faction to finish /gag, but that's on hold till i finish his key

You dont' do the beat on the guards until they run away then leave them? they'll be hours before coming back?

Well Mica, if Vhalen is camped in SK, there is another handy bard to be afk killed by pet classes in south qeynos, Vicus Nemad or something like that, lvl 20ish, 6.5min respawn. Just kill enough guards there to get kos to him and you are good to go. Large faction hits also it seemed, 1 night afk = max RoS for Kroe (I had done a few hours at the bard in SK too tho).

You took the guard out front (or back) singly and beat puss out of him out of assist range of others ?

you need to do it out the front - if you do it out the back it will walk back into frendlies area and get the guts enough to hit you again

Either way he still didn't run away Done now tho, was just a wee bit irritating .. only started when i was KoS to dorfs anyway.. speakin of, gunna have to fix that now >.<
