I have no idea what level "chanter" - I have been hijacked
sent to some weird other server
I am lost .... so lost ....
PS Note for my chanter buddy Verc, how long would it take for a 76 chanter to get up to max level nowadays .... just thinking

I have a chanter you could play on raids until you get up to speed on yours
Won't take long to grind to 85, is a few lower level recruits around.

Jorgurorf recently started playing again from level 75
in a few months he's 85, geared and aa'd to suitable levels

Well when it comes to getting up these days it should not take long.
And the gear can be grouped..
There is lots of help out there.. And Mercs are a major help..
From 76 to 85, I am guessing by your self a month or 2 but with help from some of the power lvl'rs in the guild would not take long at all..
People like Lyannah, Durus have created chanters and got them geared and lvl'd up so they know the drill and will mostlikely help too..... and Durus has already suggested using his chanter until Fendaren is up to speed.... btw Durus's chanter is better geared and has more aa's than me.. <sigh>... bad when a bot is better than a main...
Most spells you will need are in the 81-85 range and easy to get and some "mainly aura's" come with void progression..
Void access is a must but gives good XP at lvl 76...
Void access will allow you to gear up well too.

Durus's chanter is better geared and has more aa's than me.. <sigh>... bad when a bot is better than a main...

Pfft Weo still carrying some demiplane / TSS gear. Although I did finally rep some Anguish stuff with group armour yay!
Mad leet skillz > gear!!
