Only made it past lvl 6 once.

With the amount of Ex military gear floating about in the world today I would be suprised who buys what.

Highest lvl I have cleared is 33.

Most extra drops I have had in tank is 44.

I have made it my lifelong goal to defeat Dan Crichton ... or however the hell you spell his name.

There has been times that I couldn't even clear lvl 1 :P
It seems very random as to how hard or easy it is.

There is some randomness to it yes, but as you go along, the thing that makes it harder is that it requires more drops to cause pops. This requires that you create chain reactions to do the work for you. Setting those up, is the part you have to study.

1 game played, level 16 reached without even thinking about what I was doing - OK - I'm bored again

You stopped after level 16? That's like stopping after the first orgasm. Gotta get to 50 before you kiss off splashback!
