Post by Turook »
OK can anyone help me with this.
My Nortons Disc Doctor repeorted i had a problem. On repairing the problem, it reported that c rograms\commonfiles\installshield\professional\runtime\0701\intel32\DotNetInstaller.exe could not get access to a mcoo?.dll (sorry i didn't write it all down and i sorta fixed it)

Anyways i now have a couple of fonts blown out of proportion everytime i open a webpage, for note, in the wreckers page the front page where the stuff about TT is written and the top of the page where it shows who is logged in, both these fonts look nothing like they normaly do and they are 2-3 times the size they normally are.

I have found out there are a couple of viruses that have this effect but fter multiple attempts still can't find any on my system.

If anyone has any ideas short of formatting and redoing windows (i have already tried a reinstall over the top and it didn't fix it) i would love to hear about it, OH btw this is on Win 98 SE.
<a href="http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.h ... Turook Nibbla (2nd only to Boppin to be summoned)

<a href="http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.h ... Whitch Dokktor Battle Cleric of Brell Serillis

If you think it could be a virus try this

housecall.trendmicro.com/

It is an online scan of your PC, removed the problem of your virus scanner being infected on your PC and failing to report virii activities.

To me it sounds like a pooched CSS or HTML reader, simple fix, reinstall IE. (That is generally harder than it sounds but can be done with some persistance and alot of drinking)

One more thing to try would be a Spybot Search and Destroy (that is a program) scan to remove any adware and spyware on the PC incase they are doing something funky with IE.

Let us know how the turns out.
