quit after 10 days ^_^ used my freetime and decided i didnt want to keep with it, -E- was fun but it wasnt TKG so no dice, coincided with a rave which reminded rl is the win, talk to me in 2 weeks ill probably be mmorpg hungry again but *shrug* <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Hehe .. The thing that makes me giggle Star .. and I lubs ya bud .. you know I do .. but isn't heading to a rave where drug induced good times are had(and don't tell me I am wrong about the drug induced) to excape the pressure of RL the same as playing an Online game such as EQ which is ALSO an escape from the pressures of RL the same thing <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> .. We all have our escapes .. for some it is raves .. for others it is EQ That said man if we both had the time and nothing else to worry about we both would still be playing eq <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> .. and so would Silk .. it is just that at some point we realized we had other things to do .. not always better things to do though .. jobs, family and other parts of life .. for you and I it came down to competition .. when we weren't able to compete like we wanted to it kinda died off and we made excuses for why the next game was better when in reality we both want to find a new game just like eq that we can compete at again <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> .. Man I miss you guys I miss Star and Scat completely spamming out raids but then being the best damned players at their classes. I miss flashing Ky and being called baby gurrrl - sure I can flash Issolde but its not the same I miss Tarty with her hilarious and very appropriate witticisms And I miss Silk who, no matter how bad I played always managed to pat me on the head and tell me it was OK that the raid died because of me or something. There's lots of others I miss, but they aren't being board trolls atm. Miruwin

I miss those days to miru =) ah well, I dont think id ever get anything near the rush of vp the first time with pn itching for teh serverfirst, kinda sad but kinda good in a way as it keeps me from being re-addicted, trib just wasnt the same, team pr for life!~

wow i've had the same thoughts going through my head over the past few days, but I know i'll never find that first surge of "this is teh awesome" for a while to come. Lol, the philosophy has taken off. Kypos hit the nail on the head talking about competition. Me, games don't hold my interest without some form of competition. Playing softcore mmorpg is kind of like having a poker night where you play for matchsticks - good for a few laughs with your mates but ..... Trouble is, hardcore mmorpg's take a huge time investment - and much as I enjoy it the cost to family/work time is way too much <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> I'll always troll the boards though - the one thing I have to show for my thousands of hours of time logged into EQ is memories and friendships and the boards are a great way of staying in touch.
