So here we are, another patch day. As usual, for those that didn't plan ahead to sleep through it, here's something to pass the time.

EDIT: Don't waste your time on this one. If you need something to pass the time, leave a fork on the stove and then jab the screaming white hot metal into your face - it would be more productive. But will leave the link there for any self-loathing people who just love searching the web for things you don't care about, not to mention obscure parts of software you don't own.

Now where did I leave that fork..

Ended up playing Alloy through the day. Addictive side-scrolling minigame. Best score so far is a bit over 300k. Easy to learn, fast play, good for us folk with short attention sp.. a. . ooo, a butterfly!

Yeah, yeah, I missed my usual time killing link for the patch, but I'll come through for the post-patch patch!

Gridlock

Sort of fun, sometimes infuriating. Made it through all 40 levels a few times. Wanted to make sure it wasn't dumb luck after the first run and made myself redo levels repeatedly till I understood them because I'm an obsessive/compulsive nerd.

/discovers his ancient thread pale, naked, and shivering on his doorstep

For todays patching pleasure: Wizard People
Click on the Disc 1, Disc 2. Each is ~34mb. I left the first one running when I went to bed yesterday, I couldn't get to sleep because I kept laughing my ass off.

If you're looking for slightly more intellectual, scientific fare might I recommend Look Around you - Sulphur. I know I learned a lot from this one. The entire Look Around You series holds promise.

Not good enough? The put yourself through hell with 3d Logic.

completed all 30 levels (you're close Miru, don't give up!) it's really fun, and some of them (23 really is a bitch) take a LONG ass time to figure out.
