This has me a little encouraged, I thought they'd try to update it so much the programs would be in FPS and such.

Seems a nice compromise, the original cycle game, but updated to be in multiple planes.

Could be a good remake....though why bother still has me puzzled.

it's a remake? I thoguht the guru version of flynn made for a new storyline set in the future of the orig tron?

I'm going to go against the "if you can't say anything nice rule" and just say, I don't see the point. This seems to me like watching someone else play a videogame. I'd probably sit through the whole thing thinking "When's my turn? Pass the controller."

Hopefully there's a trailer out there that shows what is supposed to make this movie interesting.

Update: check out official trialer #2. It actually makes the movie look like it's worth watching.
