It's specifically the 64 bit processing of the dual core.. Mayhap I missposted - what I meant to say is that it doesn't support true 64 bit processing - and dual core causes major issues. You need to patch to fix various issues that XP has with being installed on a dual core system.

On July 4th, I blew my Nvidia 6800 ultra.. purchased an ATI Radeon X1600 Pro to replace it. I must say - so far I have been very happy with the boards performance.

Most definately is a connection. If it's your video board that's over heating - you'll experience all those symptoms and more.
