"Catch Up" Raids -- Sunday 6 January 11:00 AM AEST

Date: Sunday 6th January
Time: 11:00 AM AEST
What: Continuation of the MMM/Crystallos Keying
Where: The Cannon in DSH

I am calling this a catch up raid as its going to encompass a few different areas from MMM key bits in Zeka and Beta to the possibility of golems for Crystallos key.

Items I would like to have done (in that order)

-- MMM key bits from Zeka & Beta for those that need
-- MMM crawl to get the base for Crystallos Key
-- Killing Golems for Crystallos Key

I would like to know who needs what yet for their MMM key and Crystallos Keys. If the numbers are low to get the base, I may just run a group up there to DA run and grab the base while the rest of us kill golems.

Being that we are able to kill the golems rather easily/quickly, I am hoping that we can get quite a few more people keyed for the zone.

Again, please post here with what you need if you are going to be attending so I can get an idea of what areas are priority.

Thanks for the info Zurt, sorted that out this morning.

Still currently need Beza and Zeza documents to complete the MMM key.

Have all the containers except the MMM one - Light Blue Base

Need all Golems + Essences. Will update if anything more changes. Will be there Sunday nonetheless.

If you are talking about the document from the spy, you dont have to flop your way through it. Get "Disrupting the Workshop" from Gertrude in mech fortress. Zone into ship. Hail the spy at the entrance (kinda hidden behind the big rock at the entrance). You will get a disguise that turns you into a robot. You can now roam around the zone non-kos. The only things that will still attack you are the named. I would suggest invising after getting the disguise to eliminate the problem. You should then be able to just run up to the spy without any problems.

I need the two documents (zeka and beza) for MMM key. I'm done up to that point.

Crystallos key: I will edit in the next day or so. Golgo botted me through a portion of it.

I have the MMM key but have done very little wandering around the zone, apart from what we did the other weekend.

I did actually find something out about these raids.. which is a HUGE deal..

The gems are prelootable. I would imagine you would still have to do the beginning portions, the container tasks, as picking that up gets your first update of the Beyond the Barrier Quest, and then making the crystal is the 2nd update to the quest. It is not necessarily when you spawn or kill the golem. That being said, the gems can then all be prelooted. I just always had people get the quest to be able to spawn the golems/follow the lore/get the xp, not knowing you could preloot the items. If you tag along with someone else that can spawn the golem, just loot the gem.

This may solve your problem with Bubski.

If I had known this tid bit of information earlier, it probably would have saved some folks from doing the golems again when they didnt have the base, quest, etc.

I wouldn't do any steps out of order. I can't remember the specifics and have forgotten the task steps so I'm not sure if it's relevant to what Zurt is saying... but I saw a post on SOE forums that said that while it is possible to skip the spawn/kill golem steps (side effect of prelooting iirc)and still get Crystallos access, it screws you up with some future task that is required for raid progression.

Hmm I just read that thread. It seems some people have problems with it and others dont. A couple of the people said that they never did any of the subquests and they were able to get the "explore crystallos" quest fine. (apprently the problem was that after getting the key, they didnt get the subquest to finish the "Breaking the Barrier" task to be able to raid in Crystallos).

I would personally not want to do any of the tasks out of order, but it is an option for some people who may choose to fix it later on before we are raiding in there.

/boggle. Well Bubskis main problem is it wouldnt credit her with the last kill we were doing - she could spawn it a million times just wouldnt credit her with the kill at all which sucked.

She got the drop however and I held off on combineing it on the off chance it was going to bug her further.

Anyways we will see.

Sonna also got this Sunday off for the first time in a month may end up spending the day doing other things but least whats needed is listed.

I have three silver pieces for MMM key
have beza document sample - still need zeka
dont have any of crystallos pieces

still need to get quests, so alot left for me to do.

I'll try my best to make it to the catch up raid, either way I'll get it done with Dan, Mactabilis, and Suz (preferrably not boxed)... Hoping to start this tomorrow.

Its really a very short run for the base. When you zone in from SF into MMM run straight across the first room and thru the door then follow that hall all the way down till you reach a door at the very end, through that door is a room and its only about 20ft in front of you, you can see it as soon as you open the door.
