Hatewell, 64 SK

Post by Waverton »

haracter Name: Hatewell
Level: 64
Class: SK
Your Time Zone: Sydney
Magelo Link: N/A
AA Count: On one hand

Please tell us your previous guild(s) including on other servers: Wind of Tranquility (Antonius Bayle)

Why did you leave your previous guild(s)? I haven't yet!

How did you hear about Wreckers? Google

Why do you want to join Wreckers? Time zone.

Tell us about yourself as a player:
G'day there, I played pretty-well from the beginning until '03 or thereabouts. I was in the UK at the time & had fun on the Euro server that was busy at my time. Moved back to Australia and on to WoW.

Playing Diablo 3 recently it occurred to me that the multi-player experience in modern games has been distilled to the point where there is virtually no communication between players any more. Voicing this observation to friends led to nostalgic ramblings about my days in EQ and one thing led to another and I've re-installed and re-subscribed.

Amazingly the old guild on Antonius is still around and a few people remember me (9 years later!). But the timezone is bad so I was happy to discover you guys.

I used to raid PoP, but with 2 small kids it's unlikely I'll get back to raiding. My interest is in re-learning the game and doing group content. I appreciate that I'm way behind the curve - does anyone group with their alts or is it all multi-boxing & power-levelling these days?

So basically I'm looking for a regular bunch to shoot the breeze with and group wherever possible. Happy to help out wherever I can. I have a 60 druid and 61 Shm but it's unlikely I'll be hitting 90+ any time soon, which doesn't really concern me.

I haven't moved servers yet as I wanted to sound you out. Cheers.

Hey there bud.. thanks for the interest.. look around for me during peak times this week and hopefully we can catch up in game for a chat.

is NP if you just wanna transfer just to be social with an Aussie population, more mouths to feed at BBQ's can only be a good thing :)

Don't make us put the voting buttons on a pedestal so you can't reach them.

You only think you do. But it is an illusion.

I was actually considering a conversion but was worried about stairs 'cause when I think of gnomes I'm always reminded of that old joke,
"What's brown and goes backwards up stairs?"
"A corgi with a hard-on".

Hate

People do still group their alts, not everyone PL's and many Wreckers have alts at around your level
