Super Easy Fast Christmas Cake

Post by binndii »

1kg of mixed dried fruit
2 cups of strong black coffee
1 Family block of chocolate (any sort)
2 cups of Self Raising Flour

Method:

Make two cups of strong black coffee. Break chocolate up into a large bowl and pour still hot coffee onto chocolate and allow chocolate to melt. Add the chocolate and coffee mix to the mixed fruit and leave to soak.

Stir in flour. Bake in over at 180 Degrees for about an hour.

Cool in tin and pour port all over it. YUM

I want to try this but first, what's a
Family block of chocolate
weight wise?

Our ovens don't go down to 180 degrees, just use a very low temperature? And adjust baking time accordingly?

Oh and line your tin with paper.

Oh and test your cake before it comes out as it may take a tad longer.
