Izno's Brownies

I managed to pry this out of Izno, and with his permisson, am printing it for all to enjoy.

4 squares of unsweetened chocolate or 10 tbl of cocoa (I used the unsweetened chocolate)
1 cup of margarine or butter (I used butter)
2 1/4 cups of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
3 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts, optional (I don't like nuts, I didn't use them)
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt

Melt butter and chocolate, remove from heat and add sugar, eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add flour, salt and soda, mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, depends on your oven. If you use the cocoa, they will have a more cakelike texture, unsweetened chocolate made them more moist.
