Bacon and snowpea fettucine

Post by binndii »

In a med to hot fry pan place 250grams of sliced bacon, a diced onion, a couple of chilli's, garlic to taste. Cook these all together until they caramelise (use as little oil as possible as oil comes out of the bacon).
Add a cooked packet of fresh fettucine (about 250grams) (without the packet of course), chuck in a handful of sliced shallots and two handfuls of snowpeas coursly chopped and serve. You may want to add a good tablespoon of parmesan cheese. Enjoy, its one of my favs. I used to work in a restaurant that served this and it was very popular and easy peasy!

I personally, would stick with a beer.

A dry white if you prefer is good too.

Enjoy!
