Simple Golgo, the mirror sort of wasn't a mirror 100% of the time. There was actually a plain piece of glass (or one of those new fangled bits of mirror glass that can be turned into a mirror or 2 way glass at the flick of a switch)

On either side of the glass there was 2 identical 'mirror image' rooms. In each room was an identically dressed girl (maybe twins?)

When the 'victim' entered the washroom, the glass was in mirror activated mode, then switched to plain glass mode so that the victim didn't see their reflection but did see the 'reflection' of the girl standing looking into the 'mirror'.

A more Gol-centric response: Remember the Egyptian level of GoldenEye where the pools of water looked like reflections of the pillars but reflected nothing else? Was just another set of objects textured the same with the alpha levels on the pools themselves turned down. Instant fake mirror!

Was just mirrored rooms, a pane of glass, and out of sync twins. Would seem that the small mirrors on the far walls were 2-ways w/ cameras behind them.

oh duh, no wonder the confusion. I was in a hurry and didn't have enough time to watch long enough, didn't see the shot of the twin on the other side, whoops

Actually Miru overcomplicates. All it was was a sheet of glass and twin girls who had practiced a LOT at the actions, yah the room was mirror image too of course.

Nah - wasn't just a simple sheet of glass, because at times, the 'victims' did have a reflection.

No, the victims didn't have a reflection in the main mirror at all - only in the smaller mirrors which were one-way and had the cameras behind them.
