When you play on your Wii, your toon is your Mii, or in other words a kind of avatar that gets used in some games.

That's the dorkiest thing I've ever heard. Silly names aside, the system any good?

Yeah its kinda fun. The Zelda game is average fare imo and its use of the controller motion sensing is lame, the little sports game bundle you get with it is better, and the boxing is splendid fun and really uses the motion sensing well.

It's a toy, but a good one.

Pffft Melo, Zelda is awesome :) But yeah they didn't make full use of the remote, but at least it made a good attempt.

Best thing about the Wii mote thow is how easy it is to use, instead of your hands cramped together the controller and attachment are sperated.

Wii sports boxing is fun as hell, but damn it's tiring to =p

However all that aside I think Nintendo, like Sony and MS fucked up in terms of release schedule, Zelda was clearly the winner in the launch titles with nothing else except maybe Rayman being any good. Now there is still a few months till the next good batch of games so for me at least my Wii is mainly being a nice feature piece with some party gaming now and then.

Oh and the virtual console while a great idea falls flat on it's ass due to pricing, $7.50 for nes type games, $12.50ish for snes type games and $15 for think it was n64 games (I could be slightly of on the console generation/price).
