All I can say is WHY??????

Never did understand this predilection some people have to hanging their houses with crass displays of tacky xmas lights. How the hell do you sleep in a house with all that stuff happening? Bloody pleased nobody around this neighbourhood does anything more nasty than stick a wreathe on their front door.

omg Miru a word I actually had to lookup - yeh christmas lights are rediculous but its our basic desire to create an effect that drives most people on with this. Coupled with the compedative aspect that we have.

THAT is a thieves paradise.
To achieve that, each light needs to be patched seperately, they need a programable lighting desk AND a sound desk, which are linked together. They have at least a 24 channel dimmer rack, a computerised lighting desk, not to mention 3 phase power outlet, just to get that happening.

Those people have money. Or are lighting designers. Or both. And while I agree with Miruwin, I know EXACTLY how long it would have taken to set that up. I'm in awe.

We decorate our house every year, nothing nearly as flash as that, just a santa, tree & star in the window. Some lights run along the gutter. And we have lanterns running along the path to the door. I think it looks pretty and adds to our families christmas cheer.

I have never put up xmas lights outside the house, I put a wreathe on the door for about 5 years when the kids were little, I put a xmas tree up for about 20-25 years (haven't done one now for about 4 years since the kids left home and stopped harassing me about it) and have never decorated inside the house either.

LOL - for about 10 years of the 25 years of xmas trees, I just pulled a potted palm from the yard into the house and stuck an angel on the top.

HAH AHHAHAHAHH Miruwin

That was funny poor kids : )

I liked the light show and Yeah it must of taken hours I wonder if we missed the grande finalle cos the video was too short.

The entire house was condemmed and the place was rigged to exploed after the rudimentry display of corporate public relations good will toward Xmas.

Kids say-- Mummy look at the pretty lights I am so happy
Mummy says -- Yes kids thank macdonalds for sposoring it
Kids say-- Mummy im mezmerised by the golden arches
Ronald's team yells DUCK
/emote KKKKAAAABOOOOOMMM
Kids Scream and cry Why mummy Why ----:(
Daddy says -- Why they go and have ta spoil that Hey

Ronald announces --- WE DID IT BECAUSE YOU BUGGER WON'T SUBSTITUTE THE ANGEL ON THE TREE FOR OUR VISION OF HOW ALL HUMANS SHOULD LOOK "THE GRIMACE" (thickshake monster)
MUUUUWAHAHHAHAHAHA

Hey Gang take care

OMFG!
I loved this!!!
My mother considers Christmas her holiday..hell i remeber as a kid helping put all the lights up, making sure the christmas tree was in front of the window to add more lights to the outside. Then i had to tip-toe around all the decorations inside the houw..from "Rub-a-dub-dub, Santa in a Tub" to "Santa loves the Square Dancing"

If my mother ever saw this when i was a kid,.......i think i might of been the first 10 year old in Missouri to die froma heart attack of trying to redo that feat.

Either way i love this....you think planes might vear off course if they saw this?
