Time to kill? Try this.

Mystery of Time and Space
Flash-based puzzle game, has filled countless hours of downtime. Commence the wailing and gnashing of teeth as more people slug their way through it. If you get stuck, leave a post.

I didn't get enough stuff thrown at me last time, so here's more annoyance for the puzzle addicts: Crimson Room , Veridian Room , Blue Chamber
Expect to click items multiple times before seeing a result - helps to know ahead of time instead of going on to hour 4 and furiously clicking every pixel while screaming obscenities at your monitor at 2am.

Another good one if you don't mind a bit of gore (or a lot - either way, you've been warned): Exmortis

And if that's not enough, this as a whole should keep you occupied for the next year. Yes, this is what I do instead of just sitting around in EQ these days.

Flash game, sort of a zero-g ping pong game.
Level 1-3: Nice and slow, learn how to spin the ball.
Level 4-6: It's serious now.
Level 7: Pissed
Level 8: Pain
Level 9: Brain melts
Level 10: Still working towards it

---
Edit: Beat 8 =)

Oh, and if you get the "This image was stolen" nonsense, just enter the address into the addy bar directly and it should go fine. Screw banner-laden sites.

Found this one posted over at the Ranger's Glade: Castle Battles

Need Shockwave to play it, I believe. Simple concept: find the chest in the other castle and try to knock it off the checkered grid with a canon. Incredibly slow game play, frustratingly long waits between turns, you can build a ship in a bottle before you get to fire again, did I mention there's a lot of wasted time waiting for the game to stop screwing around? Anywho, for those who didn't plan ahead and arrange sleep during the day-long server merge, this should occupy a couple hours of twitching. Oh, did I mention that you can have a nervous breakdown, get help, attend a "welcome home" party, and have time to grab a cold one between turns? <-- impatient, twitch-reflex gamer at heart.

I wasn't going to do this, but with this patch and tomorrow's downtime what choice is there..
Legend of the Green Dragon
..I appologize ahead of time.

Didn't play for a while, so I lost my char in this one, but if you were into Legend of the Red Dragon back during the BBS days, this should seem very very familiar.

Going hand in hand with my over-abundance of free time is my being unemployed, which is why the following damn near killed me. So to all my fellow jobless bums out there, this should fill an hour you'd have otherwise spent thinking about looking for work. Or not.

Warning: Contains brief cartoon nudity, vulgarity, and far too much truth..

2. Laid-Off: Help Wanted
3. Laid-Off: Annual Report
4. Laid-Off: Vacation Day
5. Laid-Off: Career Day

It had to be posted.. UK vs. Aussie cricket flash game, now with 20% less political correctness! This thread was getting a bit low on the list, guess we're due for a patch soon.
