supposedly true some one from the UK disconnected his battery from his v8 merc and hooked something like that to the car and he started it no worries.

Fair enough - a phone trickle charges where as the car probably takes most of the charge in one or two attempts.

I had a look arround there were a number of similar products - makes me think of the use of a power bank a little differently I must say. Any USB device was handy but emergency car starter as a bonus is good.

Wonder how long the charg eis good for.
