Love Game of Thrones, but I dunno about an MMO. Wouldn't you need to let your character die to progress? ;-)

Not a bad choice, the books are very big on political intrigue and backstab, which browser can do just as well. Really depending on the type of game they want to develop, I can see something like "Utopia" can work, I played that browser text based game for years.
