Guys,

I'm sure several members check out the various gamer comics (WTF etc) and I know several read the CAD series also. For those wanting more information.

So therefore this is for the folks who don't. The creator Tim Buckley has put a call out to the online communities to help him achieve a 10,000 referral prize for a game called League of Legends. The preimise of this is simple.

1. Follow this link

2. Create an account and download the game. Don't worry it's FREE to play.

3. Play the game until you are at least level 5. It took me some figuring out that it actually means the main character level (at the lobby), once you are in a match you start at level 1 and the guy you play levels up which adds to your "main" character's XP. It's sort of confusing but do it anyway.

4. That's it, provided you reach level 5 of the main character it counts as a succesful referral and you can stop playing, or keep playing whatever.

The game itself is a mostly RTS game with you doing battle in either Co-Op vs. AI or PvP. It's interesting and fun and did I mention FREE to play!

As of this weekend he was sitting at 6,500ish referrals. Spread the word!
