I was watching TV and forgot to turn the sound off on the stereo, next thing I hear is the login music. Stupid Sony I hate having to re-log 6 accounts all the time.

I am just thankful the daily restarts of the servers has never come abck to haunt us. I still remember the protests we held on the forums and chat.

All EverQuest Live Servers (except Al'Kabor) will be brought down at 3:00 am PDT (10:00 am UTC) on Wednesday, June 28, 2010 for an update. Estimated downtime is 5 hours.

This is BS, servers were meant to come down in 35mins, and be down for 5hrs ... yet they been down for some time already ...

Beta starts today, any money servers are down because their brining up the beta servers

Lol wonderful, got my ass kicked at work, first day and I worked 4 hours extra and now that I'm home servers are down -.- guess that is a sign that I should just go to bed... G'Night Everybody I'll see ya'll tomorrow ;)

Seems that all of us had a typical Monday and just wanted to kill shit ... but once again, SOE Fucks over the aussies ... First by Daily Server Restarts, then Taking away UbiSoft Subscriptions, then patches when their prime US players aren't playing ... FFS ... do them during normal US Day Hours rather than the early mornings ...

I would laugh if all the devs went to fan fair and left the least experienced dude to start HoT beta and he/she put it on all the live servers.

no patch message or any explanation for the 6hr downtime. Anyone see anything about last nights outage on the Sony forums ?

Nothing I could find on the SOE EQ forums ... and a number of the posts that were there before the forums also came down questioning (read: complaining) about the unanounced downtime have "vanished".

However, advance notice of the downtime was posted over on SWG forums -- scheduled maintenance affecting all Station games and all Station forums. Least someone over there provided a heads up ~

This was not any sort of emergency downtime specifically to patch/update EverQuest.
