If people are stupid enough to believe everything they see in a movie, especially one as ridiculously 'far-out' as this, then it's just too bad for them
If they really cared, they'd go do some research on it after they see the movie, but i'm betting most people go to just enjoy the movie and not take it too seriously.
Just gotta say this... I cracked up in an episode (maybe 2.. or 3?) of season 1 of CSI New York, they had a rapist whose semen contained no sperm. They thought it was these four gardner guys, but weren't sure which one, so they, somehow, got them to agree to give a semen sample. It just appeared in little cups, at the same time, in their lab. When, earlier, they approached the guys, they didn't really say anything like "WTF?" or whatever. I don't know about anyone else, but if I had to go to a lab somewhere on some end of town during a work day, I would definitely refuse UNLESS they got a court order saying I legally had to do it. I wouldn't just be like "Oh, sure. I love to #$%@ in cups" And if they did have to wait for a court order, I would imagine it wouldn't be that fast...
Okay, well, even if the paperwork aspect took only 5 minutes, I would think the more... physical... side of getting a semen sample should not be instantaneous. haha
