Potato Bake
Use up the last of that Xmas Ham or use bacon 1. Wash about 6 or so potatoes, don't bother to peel them if you like the skins 2. Thinly slice the potatoes and place the first layer in the base of an oven safe pan or casserole 3. Cut peeled onions in half then thinly slice and place a layer of onions...

Trust me - add a little sugar to the sauce and note the improvement in flavour. Any time you cook tomatoes and don't have anything else with a high sugar content eg capsicum, toss in a little bit of sugar to neutralise the acid bite of the tomatoes. Carrots will give a bit of sugar and if you are re...

Women's Rights Day is still a valid concern. The vast majority of people who don't get an education, who cannot read and write, are women. The vast majority of people who do not have a say in who they marry are women. Rape in marriage has only been on the statute books of SOME Western countries for ...

Old family recipe, not sure where it came from but my family have been cooking this for many generations and each new generation thinks 'ahh - that thing Mum used to cook, wonder how its made' and get to and experiment until its just right. Basically, there is no recipe. It's sort of a frittata meet...

Yeah - Easter was a feast celebrating the Goddess of the Dawn/Light and who was also regarded as a fertility goddess, which was celebrated at the spring equinox. It won't come as a surprise to anyone that our modern Easter celebrations fall around about the spring equinox, however, once again its a ...

IF there was such a person as Jesus Christ, it is highly improbable that his birthdate was actually in December. Most historians believe that his birth probably occurred in September, approximately six months after Passover. One thing they agree on is that it is very unlikely that Jesus was born in ...

May the ancient celebrations of Yuletide bring much festivities to you all. Yuletide is the old pagan mid-winter celebrations where the frozen northern climes celebrated the turning point of winter back to summer. It was the shortest sunlight hours of the year, when they knew if their food stocks wo...

Thanks for the recipe mate. I'm sure a few of the guild will give it a try. There's a lot of them that haven't worked on their Tradeskills, especially their baking and this recipe looks like a simple way for them to start their skillups. All ingredients are easily foraged locally and are common drops.

I don't think I gave away anything that the movie's trailers didn't give away almost a year ago. Also, the reviews are coming in and they are almost all incredibly bad. One review I listened to gave the movie 1 out of 10, but only gave the 1 point because of the Russian actor in it. Me, I reckon the...

It wasn't the microwaves they were rabbiting on about, it was the neutrinos. Supposedly these little buggers, most of which emanate from the Sun, surround us and around 50 trillion pass through our bodies every second. Probably Vexo would be the best person to explain what they are good for in more ...
